  1. Applying member fills out a membership application
  2. Sponsoring member requests officer to process application
  3. New membership is announced at upcoming meeting, receives sponsorship from existing member, and unless otherwise objected, member is accepted
  4. First month's dues are received and documented by treasurer
  5. Applying member signs liability waiver
  6. Applying member receives [[instructions on how to access building[[
  7. Applying member receives appropriate safety training for tools and facilities
  8. Applying member signs and initials appropriate areas of the network acceptable use policy and any other policies of the group
  9. Applying member receives access to doors necessary
  10. Inducting officer updates membership list and induction date of applying member
