Policy and Procedure for Locking Interlock
Please consider the following if you are the last keyed member to leave the space.
General Awareness
- All lights are off, including floor and desk lamps
- Unplug all power tools and soldering irons
- Fridge is closed
- All box fans are off
- Nothing is on fire
Door
- Both the top and bottom locks on the passive door should be engaged
- Double-check to make sure the door handle is locked
- Make sure door is latched behind you, and triple-check that the handle is locked
