Project Description: This project was created to have a place to learn and practice the hobby of lock picking. We will be creating a door that leads to an alternate reality where everyone understands Nick does not really lead to anywhere and installing various locks so we can attempt to pick, shim, or whatever our way in.

Materials

  • Framed door
  • 10 locks of various types obtained from Craigslist
  • lock installation kit

  • Jeremy and I picked up 10 locks for $4 a piece because they didn't have keys to go with them.
  • Wayne and I picked up a framed door from a local hardware store
  • We installed the door and one lock so far.
  • next steps are to level out the frame, enclose the door, and install more locks
