Project Description: This project was created to have a place to learn and practice the hobby of lock picking. We will be creating a door that that does not really lead to anywhere and installing various locks so we can attempt to pick, shim, or whatever our way in.

Materials

  • Framed door
  • 10 locks of various types obtained from Craigslist
  • lock installation kit

  • Jeremy and I picked up 10 locks for $4 a piece because they didn't have keys to go with them.
  • Wayne and I picked up a framed door from a local hardware store
  • We installed the door and one lock so far.
  • next steps are to level out the frame, enclose the door, and install more locks
